SUMMARY
Assist and provide full support to the Production Manager to establish the efficient operation of the line in accordance to the schedule, manpower, Quality Assurance, USDA, SQF Level compliance and safety requirements.
College degree or 2 years food manufacturing experience.
Knowledgeable on USDA and OSHA regulations.
Monday thru Friday with some Saturdays as needed (typical shift runs from 5:45 a.m. to 3:30-4 p.m.)

Summary: The Technician is responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to inspecting, verifying and documenting food safety and quality product and packaging quality according to Stone Gate policies and procedures. Verifying and ensuring all product process follow GMPs, and met Company and regulatory requirements. Monitoring line process, collecting and delivering samples for testing, recording weights, conducting temperature checks, metal detection and monitoring the production process adhering to USDA, FDA, GMP and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to work the schedule/ assigned times
Regular attendance to ensure production food safety requirements are met
Verify allergen procedures and practices are followed
Prepares all the required paperwork and quality measures during new product introduction & for existing products.
Complete all daily Quality/Food Safety paperwork and reports in a timely manner
Ensure quality standards are maintained by conducting test, observing processes and products and recording /reporting results.
Performs calibrations verifications weekly according to schedule
Identify in-process product condition by collecting samples during the product process, conducting in-process inspections and physical tests.
Must be able to establish, develop, and maintain well working relationships at all levels.
Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions and solve problems
Taking corrective actions as necessary if standards are not being met
May perform other duties as assigned

2 years of experience in Food Industry or related field. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biology is a plus.

Summary: The FSQA Practitioner is a key supporting position in our service level with customers by maintaining and updating quality documentation on a regular basis. Quality documentation includes keeping detailed ingredient information and creation of specification for distribution. This position will also maintain the change control and corrective action process.
This position will assist in design, implementation, and compliance with the Company’s food safety plan. Identify potential food-safety and quality issues while conducting Quality System audits. Provide technical support to management on food safety, quality and regulatory issue resolutions and corrective actions. Work with Sourcing to assure compliance with food safety and quality requirements. Technically interpret and align third-party audit and Company food safety and quality expectations. Train facility teammates to properly conduct GMP and Food Safety audits.
Assist facility management in developing and implementing corrective actions, consistently and clearly defining the critical issues and approaches to be used in resolving food safety and quality audit findings. Follow up with facility management to assure adequate and appropriate responses to audit findings.
Must be able to write create, execute and implement a Food Safety Plan, related SOPs, and all supporting programs
Respond to customer complaints: investigate, evaluate, and communicate to upper management and trend data
Must be able to effectively train others on SOPs and FSQA Program
Set up and Conduct Internal Food Safety Validation Studies
Must be able to review all records
Provide failure analysis and corrective actions.
Responsible for ensuring the employees follow GMP and safety guidelines.
Must be able to interact with all supervisors and leads in a positive and effective manner
Proficient in GFSI based audits
Ability to analyze data and project trends
Formal training in PCQI, HACCP, SSOP’s, GMP’s
Proficient with computer
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
BS in food science or closely related field strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing
Knowledgeable in regulatory agencies, SQF and OSHA regulations preferred
